We are a peer support group meaning there are no licensed therapists contracted for the group. We welcome anyone who feels the pain of losing someone to suicide. We have a strict rule of anonymity. This will allow people to speak freely which is essential to the healing process. Taking electronic notes in any form is strictly prohibited. All ages that can participate meaningfully are welcome. No baby-sitting service is available.
We encourage honest and open communication. Remember, we all mourn differently. Crosstalk (advice giving) should be limited to when asked. No one person owns this group. There are 4 founding members. We are here for you and for ourselves. If you want to help, please send a message via the FB page link above or talk to us at group. We are using donated facilities. Please bring tissue to share and be prepared to help to set up and clean up.
