Lea Ababele Story

 My name is Lea Ababele. I live with my family and my parents.We are refugees ,and we came as refugees in the United States in 2022. We used to live in Tanzania before we came to the United States. My parents are from Congo but because of the war they ran away from their home country to Tanzania.We lived in Tanzania for  about 25 years .I and my siblings were born in Tanzania. We all have certificates as refugees in the United States. We are  working on getting Green Cards. My mom is illiterate because she didn’t go to school but my dad doesn’t have much. I’m the fifth born in my family. I have 4 brothers and 5 sisters .My life in America has been good because I have freedom, I have education and also the right of speaking. I am a student who can make a choice for her own career and study  what she wants to study.I really appreciate getting refugee status , My younger siblings are also going to school . In Tanzania I was a student and I learned how to write and read. Because I lived in the refugee camp and the environment there, I could not pursue my dreams . In the United States I can pursue my dream job and to become what I want to be in the future.This is a great opportunity for me and for my family to show what I have as a girl who is trying to start her journey of becoming what she wants. My career goal is to be a nurse.  Something made me decide to pursue this goal 

because I love to help people and I really want to help all patients around the world. 

Something I really want in this career or my future job, is because my grandma 

passed away in 2021,I cried  a lot that day  and I decided to become a Nurse if God 

bless me I want to become a Doctor too, because it’s very sad when I see somebody 

died it’s make me to remember  many things in my life and I don’t want somebody else to die  when I will be a nurse because I just want make sure everybody is fine  even though there is death and I am not God,but I just want try my best to protect others in this world  that’s reason why I want this job or my future career.

 

I am hard working,I am respectful,I do whatever they tell me with my teachers.I want to finish high school and get the Diploma,if I got the scholarship I wanna go to college to study about Nurse and when I finish college I want to go to University after all that,I will have an experience about my career,so after finish my studies then I can looking for my job career like a Nurse and when I get that job I wanna helps poor people around the world,because there so many people are suffer in their country or out of their country that is something I really want do in my education life.
