Alliance’s education journey

I grew up in a refugee camp after my family was forced to leave our home. Life in the

camp was extremely difficult, and my education was profoundly impacted by the

conditions surrounding me. Although I had a strong desire to learn, I lacked the

necessary resources and environment to study effectively. These challenges shaped my

educational journey and motivated me to keep working toward a better future.

In the refugee camp, schools were overcrowded and lacked basic supplies. Many

students shared one textbook, and sometimes there were no books at all. I often went

to school without notebooks, pens, or other learning materials. This made it hard to

complete assignments, review lessons, or fully understand what was being taught. It

was frustrating to want to succeed but not have the tools needed to do so.

The learning environment also made studying difficult. Classrooms were temporary and

often noisy or uncomfortable. At home, my family lived in a small space, and there was

no quiet place to study. I also had responsibilities such as helping with chores and

supporting my family, which left me with little time to focus on schoolwork. Despite these

obstacles, I continued to attend school because I believed education was my path to a

better life.

Living in the refugee camp taught me resilience and determination. I learned to stay

focused even when conditions were not ideal. I paid close attention in class, asked

questions, and did my best with what I had. These experiences taught me to value

education deeply and to never take learning opportunities for granted.

Receiving this scholarship would allow me to continue my education with the tools and

support I once lacked. It would ease my financial burden and give me the opportunity to

focus fully on my studies. More importantly, it would bring me closer to achieving my

goals and building a future where I can support myself and give back to my community.

This scholarship is not just financial support; It is an investment in my determination,

resilience, and commitment to education.
