Grief is painful

I know the pain will never leave my soul. It’s just taken a seat in the back where it quietly waits to be acknowledged from time to time. It deserves a permanent spot just not on center stage. Yet, some moments, the spotlight shines directly on it and everything else is required to stop to listen and watch. And that’s okay.
